ISO 27001 Ecosystems I.T. has gained ISO27001 Information Security Accreditation for its data sanitation procedures. Ecosystems has an ongoing commitment to ensure that the policies and practices it has in place to safely and correctly sanitise its clients data when recycling redundant computer equipment is of the very highest standard. CCTM & CESG Approved EDR Hard Drive Crusher Ecosystems I.T. Limited as part of its commitment to Client Data Security and incorporating its ISO27001 Information Security Management System has introduced an EDR Hard Drive Crusher. John Caunce Strategic Partnerships Director states: “The EDR Hard Drive Crusher carries the highest level of government approval for data destruction incorporating both CESG and CCTM certification. Unlike our CESG approved Deguasser, the HDC provides immediate visible evidence that the storage media has been destroyed. The HDC crushes the drive and places ripples in the hard drive palter making data recover of any type impossible. His appointment to board directorship provides us with the ability to sustain and build upon the growth and success we have had since our inception”. Vehicle Tracking
Chris Littlewood our Managing Director states: “Not only does our comprehensive vehicle tracking system provide our clients with peace of mind that when we are carrying confidential data on their behalf we have up to the minute information of where our vehicle fleet is in the country and what they are doing. But it is also proving to be a considerable asset for our vehicle fleet logistics on a day to day basis. We introduced vehicle tracking as an added security measure on behalf of our clients, having looked at several options in the market we found the Ctrack system best suited both our clients and our own internal requirements”. CCTV System Upgrade As part of our ISO27001 Information Security Management System and incorporating our ongoing commitment to client data security, Ecosystems I.T. Limited has upgraded its CCTV system. Phil Brown Ecosystems Operations Manager states: “Our upgraded CCTV system is all encompassing and gives us 360 degree protection of our facilities from 35 meters externally and covers every operational area within. The fully monitored system is on 24 hour 7 day a week record and has motion, infra red and heat sensor alerts. Its functionality allows management to view activities from anywhere through the World Wide Web with alerts and remote viewing accessible through 3G mobile phones. The CCTV upgrade provides excellent intruder protection and provides additional security to client data”. The 12 month good news story April 2011 “Since the inception of the company we knew we were starting a new business in a very challenging marketplace. Ecosystems has achieved many of the initial goals set by its founding member that include gaining the appropriate T11, S2, and waste carriers licensing as well as ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental accreditation. We intend to push further this year by gaining AATF status, ISO27001 information security accreditation and CCTM approval for the services we provide. This year has seen phenomenal growth for the company. We started in May 2010 with 5 employees and now have 30 full time employees, with recruitment continuing throughout the coming year. I find the really good news story here is that in the majority of cases, we have been recruiting people who have either been unemployed, or in part time employment and providing them with a full time opportunity and working environment that is second to none. Our success is placed squarely on the shoulders of the quality team that we employ and I would like to thank them for the dedication and commitment that they have shown over the last 12 months. I would also like to thank the continued support of our clients, without whose support, we would not have been able to grow so rapidly. Our growing client base currently has 700 contracted organisations, the introduction of a second collections team dealing with Central London and Scotland coupled with our existing collections team is targeted to treble the amount of contracted clients over the coming 12 months. The company has done well within its first year considering we are working within such a challenging marketplace.
